Samsung Galaxy S5

We can define Samsung Galaxy S5 in one work, ‘Evolution’. The camera has evolved to perform better for clearer, faster pictures. Fitness tracking abilities have been increased as compared to Galaxy S4. A more powerful health App has been added to Galaxy S5 with a dedicated heart rate monitor on the rear. To increase the security of the device, a fingerprint scanner has been added. It has a larger battery, bigger screen with increased brightness, faster processor and altered design. The specs are quite fascinating: a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 2800mAh battery that is removable, 16/32GB of internal memory with 128GB micro SD card capacity, 5.1 in screen. All these features have added beauty to the device.

Talking about price, if you are an experienced Galaxy phone user, you should not be shocked by the price. It is in fact a bit cheaper than previous years in some areas of the world. The prices ranges from 550-600 pounds in UK and $650 in US while AU$900 in Australia.

The design is not as good as from Apple or HTC. However, it is not too bad, as Samsung has added a number of new apps to attract the customer. The body is made of plastic and has a good look. On the other hand, HTC has maintained its metal unibody history with One M8 while Apple has maintained its sharp design in iPhone 5. The main reason for the plastic body seems to be the cost of manufacture that increases much with metal body. Samsung ties to keep things lighter. Waterproof with metal could have been a difficult situation to cope with. One thing is sure that Samsung S5 is more solid phone than Galaxy s4 and it looks more well packaged.
With the larger screen in Galaxy S5, Samsung has managed to keep things in proportion. However, the chassis is larger but not too much that it looks odd. If you are moving from iPhone to Galaxy S5, you might find it trickier to switch to bigger size. For the Galaxy users, there is a lot to like in this phone.
